This is Lindy's third year as a teacher and coach at Colleyville
Heritage High School. She is the varsity assistant for the Lady
Panthers and also serves as the head cross country coach.
Lindy also coached at Richland High School in 2006-2007, Midwestern
State in 2003-2005, and Mansfield High School in 2002-2003.
Lindy grew up in Canyon, TX where she played varsity basketball
for four years under her dad, Joe Lombard. She played on an
undefeated, state championship team in 1996 and was first team all-
state championship team in 1996 and was first team all-state in 1998.
Lindy attended Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, TX where
she was a four-year starter and received a full basketball scholarship.
During her time as a Lady Indian, Lindy earned all-conference, all-
region, and all-American honors. She holds a bachelor’s degree in
science (kinesiology) and master's degree in education (curriculum
and instruction) each from Midwestern State University.
During her free time, Lindy likes traveling to visit family and friends
taking her puggle, Maudie, for walks, and listening to live music. She has enjoyed being around such a wonderfully talented group of young players and looks forward to the upcoming season.
