This is Kris's third year as a teacher and coach at Colleyville
Heritage and nineteenth overall. He is teaching English IV and

coaching the Junior Varsity Girls Basketball team.
His first year
at CHHS, his team was 20-9 and last year's team was 26-4 and 14-0
in district.
He grew up in Fort Worth, Texas and graduated from Richland High School where he played Richland High School where he played basketball.

Kris played a year of college basketball at Texas Wesleyan Univesity
in Fort Worth. After transferring to Texas A&M and them to the
University of Texas at Arlington, he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree
in Radio-Television Communications. He has coached both boys and
girls basketball at the high school level for the past 13 years, eight
of those as a head coach in which five of his teams qualified for the
state playoffs at Forestburg, Lake Dallas, and South Hills High School.
Prior to coming to Colleyville Heritage he spent the past two years as the boys varsity assistant basketball
as the boys varsity assistant basketballcoach at Joshua High School.

Kris has been married for 14 years to his wonderful wife Christy and
they have three boys: CJ (19), Cameron (13), and Caden (10). Kris
enjoys good music and movies as well as staying busy coaching his sons and being a full-time dad to his two dogs. He has thoroughly enjoyed the past two years at CHHS and looks forward to bigger and better things from this year’s basketball program!
